PEOPLE HUNT is hiring for an independent iGaming studio creating certified online slot games with original mechanics and dynamic volatility. This client blends strong technical foundations with mathematical precision to build non-templated slot experiences for global markets.
We’re looking for a Python Developer with strong mathematical expertise to help balance and test game logic using our client’s custom Python-based SDK. If you enjoy combining code, stats, and probability to fine-tune gameplay - this is a chance to work where game balance = creative impact.
🎯 What You’ll Work On
Design and balance slot math models — RTP, volatility, bonus frequency, win distribution
Configure symbol weights, feature logic, and payout behavior across base game and bonus modes
Simulate and analyze millions of spins using internal tools built on Python, NumPy, and pandas
Collaborate with developers and designers to implement and iterate on game mechanics
Generate certification-ready documentation for third-party labs (GLI, BMM, etc.)
Continuously improve internal tooling for simulation, validation, and automation
🧪 Tech Stack & Tools
Custom-built Python SDK for slot math modeling
NumPy, pandas, matplotlib for data processing and visualization
AWS stack for batch simulations (EC2, Lambda, Batch, S3)
Git / GitHub for version control
Optional: Jupyter, Excel, or your preferred data tools
✅ What You Bring
Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or physics
Solid skills in Python, especially for numerical computation and data analysis
Experience designing or balancing slot games or other casino-style games
Deep understanding of RTP, hit frequency, volatility modeling, and paytable design
Able to work independently, run simulation batches, and extract actionable insights
Bonus: experience with certification processes or lab submission requirements
