About the Role
PEOPLE HUNT Agency is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for an international product company specializing in cutting-edge iGaming software. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA professional to contribute to high-quality, innovative digital products that are reshaping the entertainment industry.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product excellence by leading testing efforts for a standalone service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to tackle complex, impactful challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently plan and manage testing activities across the project lifecycle
- Coordinate and mentor junior QA team members
- Estimate testing efforts and manage timelines
- Create and maintain test documentation: test strategies, plans, checklists, and test cases (including automation support)
- Perform comprehensive functional testing (frontend & backend)
- Ensure high-quality releases by supporting release processes
- Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement in manual and automated testing
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend (web) and backend (REST API, WebSocket) testing
- Strong understanding of client-server and microservice architectures
- Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, curl for API testing
- Solid foundation in SQL
- Familiarity with DevTools, browser console, and logs analysis
- Experience with messaging systems: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
- Proficient in using log aggregation tools: Graylog, Grafana, Portainer
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins), Git, TMS (TestRail, TestIT, Allure TestOps), and issue trackers like JIRA or YouTrack
- Proficient in test design techniques and test data preparation
- Skilled with traffic sniffers such as Charles, Proxyman, Burp Suite, or Fiddler
Nice to Have
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript test automation using Playwright
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Redis
- Mobile testing experience (web, PWA, APK)
