Position: Slot Game Designer
What You’ll Do
Participate in video slot projects from concept to release. Design games that stand out in the market and drive sustainable GGR and LTV growth.
Responsibilities
Generate and formalize slot concepts: theme, core loop, and feature set (free spins, bonus buy, hold-&-spin, jackpots, crash mechanics, etc.) tailored to target audiences and regions.
Perform market and competitor analysis (Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, NetEnt, BTG, Hacksaw, etc.), produce teardown reports, and justify which ideas to adapt or evolve.
Develop and maintain GDD/TDD with clear requirements for art, dev, and QA; prioritize features and define MVP scope.
Collaborate with mathematicians to define RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and max win; ensure compliance with regulators (MGA, UKGC, etc.) and responsible-gaming standards.
Evaluate business potential: forecast GGR, LTV, and ROI for features; formulate data-driven product hypotheses.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (art, code, math, QA); align roadmaps, run product reviews, and make informed design decisions.
Post-launch, analyze KPIs (bet size, session length, retention, GGR/NGR) and drive improvements based on player data and feedback.
Requirements
2+ years in real-money gaming (RMG) or F2P slot development as a game designer, producer, or product manager.
Deep understanding of slot mechanics, certification processes, and responsible-gaming principles.
Ability to translate analytics and business goals into specific features and user experience requirements.
Proven experience creating full design documentation and guiding products through all stages of the SDLC.
Strong skills in competitive analysis and product performance analytics.
Ukrainian or Russian plus English at B2 level or higher (for documentation and cross-team collaboration).
Nice to Have
A released slot title with GGR > $1M in the first 90 days.
Experience using generative AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, etc.) to quickly create visual concepts, feature flows, and theme mood boards.
